We can hardly believe it's been 5 weeks since we returned from Ghana. So many of us are still trying to re-acclimate and "re-attach" to life back home in California. As we do so, we are fondly recollecting the people and things we saw during our travels in Ghana. We want to invite all who are interested to join us at one (or both) of our Evenings of Storytelling with the Ghana St. Bede Team: Sunday, Sept. 14, 6:45pm or Thursday, Sept. 18th, 7pm in the Parish Center of St. Bede's (215 Foothill Blvd., La Canada, CA 91011). During these evenings, team members will share photos and stories and will respond to questions from those in attendance.
A small taste of what we'll be showing those evenings will be seen at the end of all the Masses during the weekend of Sept. 13 & 14 at St. Bede's.
We all are praying everyday for the healthy and Spirit-filled growth of this partnership with the Wa Diocese and for blessings upon all our new friends in Ghana, especially Bishop Paul, Fr. Ed, Fr. Severo, Fr. Bennette, all the amazing CRS staff, and of course, our Thomas Awiapo. (...we claim him!) Thank you to YOU ALL, too, for your prayers as well.
